Sometimes travel doesn’t go according to plan — and today was one of those days. We were docked in Costa Maya, Mexico aboard Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the Seas and ready for an excursion, only to find out it had been canceled last minute. But instead of letting that ruin the day, we made the most of it! We spent time exploring the colorful Costa Maya port area, soaked in some unexpected quiet moments on the ship, and discovered just how relaxing a “plan B” can really be.
