Our Story

The story of how an Australian named Grant and an American named Marisa met and fell in love while traveling is a little too long to put into writing, so we thought we’d make a video of how we met and why we decided to start vlogging our travels around the world.

Our Family

Grant

Grant is an Aussie now living in Durham, North Carolina. Digital Marketer by day and travel hacker by night, you’ll likely find him planning the next adventure using miles and points… and buying too much camera equipment.

Marisa

Marisa is a Jersey girl now living in Durham, North Carolina. A Customer Service extraordinaire and mental health advocate, she wants to make travel feel accessible for everyone and share her journey.

Flynn

Flynn Eugene Fitzherbert Rider is Grant’s travel planning associate, pup-cup connoisseur, and snuggle expert.

Ellie

Dr. Ellie Sattler is the newest addition to the family. Her expertise is digging holes and sun patching. She can also be found redistributing household items.

Albus

Albus Severus Potter used the cat distribution system to pick his new kingdom to rule over. All boxes belong to him.
